Delete your Lifle data
Last updated: April 2026
Lifle does not require accounts and stores almost nothing about you. There are three small categories of data that may exist, and each can be cleared yourself in a few seconds.
1. Game state and stats (on your device)
Your guesses, current streak, and totals live in your browser’s local storage. We never see them. To delete:
- Android app: Settings → Apps → Lifle → Storage & cache → Clear storage. Or simply uninstall the app.
- Mobile or desktop browser: Open lifle.app, then in your browser settings clear cookies and site data for lifle.app.
Retention: indefinite, on your device only, until you clear it.
2. Email reminders (only if you opted in)
If you signed up for daily email reminders on the result screen, your address is stored to deliver those messages. To remove it:
- Click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any reminder email, or visit lifle.app/unsubscribe and enter your address.
- Once unsubscribed, your address is removed from our daily-send list. We retain a hashed record only to honor your unsubscribe choice if our system encounters the address again.
Retention after unsubscribe: hashed-only, indefinite, used only to suppress future sends. Full address deletion available on request; see contact below.
3. Push notification subscription (only if you opted in)
If you enabled daily push reminders, an anonymous device token is stored. To remove it:
- Android app: Settings → Apps → Lifle → Notifications → turn off. The subscription is invalidated and our backend prunes invalid tokens automatically.
- Browser: Open browser settings → Site settings → Notifications → revoke permission for lifle.app.
Retention: until the token becomes invalid (revoked by you, browser, or device); then automatically removed.
Anything else
For full account-level deletion (including hashed unsubscribe records or anything else not covered above), email [email protected] and we will permanently delete any data we hold tied to your address within 30 days.
See our privacy policy for the full list of what we collect and why.
