Common questions

The puzzle won’t load.

Force-quit the app and reopen it, or refresh the page in your browser. The puzzle is hosted on Cloudflare and rotates at midnight Pacific time, so a brief blip during deployment is rare but possible. If it persists for more than a few minutes, please email us with the time you saw it.

When does the new puzzle drop?

Every day at midnight Pacific time (UTC−8 in winter, UTC−7 in summer). Everyone in the world plays the same puzzle each day.

I lost my streak after switching devices.

Game state and streaks are stored on your device only — there’s no account system, so streaks don’t sync across devices. If you reinstall or clear browser data, your streak resets.

How do I turn off the daily reminder?

On iOS: open the iOS Settings app → Notifications → Lifle, and turn off “Allow Notifications.” You can also toggle the reminder off from the result screen after finishing a puzzle.

How do I delete my data?

Everything is local to your device — there’s nothing on our servers to delete. Clearing site data for lifle.app in your browser, or uninstalling the app, removes all game state and stats. See the delete data page for full instructions.
